Hoffman said his startup began its pivot to the custodial management concept after one of its airport customers said the “single largest issue they faced is keeping their restrooms and facilities clean.” Delving into the airport’s claim was originally a nights and weekends project for Hoffman, with the startup later conducting market research and discovering what it believes is a “massive untapped market.”
